The farm has a beautiful view on a hill over Table mountain, Paardeberg, Riebeeck mountain, Dassenberg and the Darling vlakte (flats) where Juan loves to take friends and passionate wine drinkers for a sundowner on a tractor ride, where they drink wine with home-made jams, salt-cured olives, chilly jelly and chutney Juan’s mother makes on the farm, also under the Nuweland label. They are in fact, Jacks of all trades and those who like to come are always welcome. Juan’s philosophy is “As long as I can enjoy a good wine, I’ll be rich man...” |
